I absolutely love love love these shots from when stayed with us. We love what we do and pour our hearts and souls into creating this little piece of doggie heaven BUT when someone else appreciates and loves what you do too - well that’s hitting the jackpot. It’s exactly why we do what we do.

One of the best things we have for our guests 🐾🐾 is a private dog walk where they can run without the worry of bumping into numerous dogs and owners. Our dog walk is just for our guests 🩷. It’s a great way to run off some energy at the start and end of the day 🌅

I normally message all guests a few hours after they arrive to check they are happy and settled and received this before I had even managed to send my message. They have a human massage booked for tomorrow (yes we do Sundays) and a canine massage for Otis on Monday. Their little break is just going to get better and better 🥰🐶

I hear it so many times - 2 nights just isn’t enough. Guests pretty much work this out within 30 minutes of arriving. Our biggest piece of advice would be to either book for longer or plan a second trip very soon.

Which would you and your pooch prefer? We recently went away to ‘dog friendly’ accommodation only to find a list of rules. Our dogs didn’t feel welcomed and therefore we didn’t feel welcomed. In my eyes this was NOT dog friendly accommodation - merely dog tolerant. It’s such a shame, it can really make or break a holiday. You won’t find any silly rules at Dux Farm Retreat and everyone (and we mean everyone) will receive the warmest of welcomes so you can start enjoying your holiday the minute you park your car. Give us a follow and see what you’re missing.

Absolutely love this walk no matter what the weather. Always so much to see. Lovely quiet walk around Tamar Lakes with the most wonderful reward with the best pancakes and sausages for the doggies. It’s heaven for everyone. It’s only 20 mins from us and is well worth a visit.

Do you know what is amazing about this review? They didn’t have dogs and booked dog friendly accommodation - it could be quite a gamble but not at Dux Farm Retreat. We deep clean (personally, not getting cleaners in) every single changeover. So no matter how many previous bookings had dogs, you wouldn’t know! We get lots and lots of couples who don’t have dogs and love it just as much as our doggie parents 💞. Thank you for choosing us.
