Unique holiday accommodation is available year round in the West Wing of the Hall, Chloe’s Cottage and our pretty cottages some of which look out over Cley Windmill and its surrounding marshland. And that’s a wrap on this year’s guided garden tours.

A big thank you to everyone who came along, wandered the gardens and joined Desmond for a tour — it’s been lovely to welcome so many of you.

The guided tours may be finished for the year, but self-guided visits are still welcome until the end of September.

And, judging by the quinces, autumn is getting on with things rather nicely.

We look forward to doing it all again next year.

Desmond and Edmund are still keeping an eye on the wells — with Edmund, naturally, still providing free labour.

Thankfully, this one is doing very well indeed. And the gnome, as ever, has resisted the temptation.

Desmond’s been busy in the kitchen.

With a helping hand from his friend Jayne, he’s turning the tomatoes he’s grown in the poly tunnel into homemade tomato sauce for the winter months.

Now September has arrived, the gardens begin to take on a new character and the seasons start to change.

Our self-guided garden tours continue until October, so there’s still time to visit.
