Such wonderful history a few doors down from us! 🥰😍🥰

Eight shops on Carr Lane, Slaithwaite, are celebrating their 100th anniversary. The Slawit SHOP! project hopes to focus on who and what occupied - and occupies - those eight shops over the past 100 years.

Colne Valley Museum is delighted that Slawit Shop will be celebrating their Centenary with a Special Exhibition at Colne Valley Museum from Saturday 31st January to Sunday 15th March 2026.

Always something lovely going on a few doors down! 🥰 🐣🐰🐣

The weather is set to turn to rain tomorrow. We are running our ever popular Children's Craft Activities at the museum TOMORROW {15 April) from 12 noon until 4pm. There is a charge of £6 per child and children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no pre-booking required. Just turn up and enjoy!

Great comment from a recent guest "Loved staying here, v cozy cottage, will definitely be back. Only trouble I had was I kept getting dragged by my wife to museums and concerts and now she wants to move here. I might move for the pies though."
