The appeal by the developer for 99 dwellings on the field between Lodge Road and Tape Lane has been refused by the planning inspector.

Please note that the appeal for the 99 has now concluded. There will be no session tomorrow.

The appeal recommences on Monday 22nd September for two days. Please come along if at all possible - it is important that the Inspector sees the strength of feeling against these 99 houses on a rural field. The session starts at 09:30.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE APPEAL

There are NO sessions on Friday 15th, Monday 18th, Wednesday 20th or Thursday 21st.

Tomorrow (Thursday) will be the appellants evidence on accessibility and design.

Tuesday 19th will cover Ecology and Infrastructure, legal agreements and conditions.

The Inspector will do his site visit on Thursday 14th late afternoon/early evening.

The appeal will then adjourn until September 22/23 when Flooding and Planning will be discussed as well as Closing statements from WBC, Appellant and Interested parties.

The planning appeal for application 242067 for 99 houses on the field between Tape Lane and on Tuesday 12th August at Lodge Road starts 10am at Wokingham Borough Councils offices at Shute End. It is scheduled to last eight days. Subsequent days start at 9:30. There is no session on Monday 18th.

It is important that as many residents as possible attend in person as this shows the inspector the level of local concern about the proposed development.
