🛠️ Site Update from Resurface Plastering & Rendering Services

Other than a couple of internal plastering jobs over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been busy on a larger rendering project — hacking back old, tired render in preparation for the enjoyable process of re-rendering and completely transforming the property. 💪

A lot of the hard work in rendering comes before the new render even goes on. Removing failed areas properly, preparing backgrounds correctly and making sure everything is solid is what guarantees a long-lasting finish and the standard we pride ourselves on.

This one is already shaping up to be a brilliant transformation and we’ll be sharing before and after photos over the next couple of weeks once the project is completed. Keep an eye out because the difference is going to be massive. 👀

The Resurface team has also grown recently which means we’re now in a stronger position to take on more work while still maintaining the care, cleanliness and finish our customers expect from us.

🗞️ END OF WEEK ROUND-UP | TOOLS DOWN FOR THE WEEK ✔️

Two jobs wrapped up today for two more happy customers to finish the week off properly for Resurface Plastering & Rendering Services.

The first job of the day turned into one of those fiddly ones where experience and patience really matter. Awkward areas and tighter spaces meant it wasn’t simply a case of throwing plaster on and hoping for the best. Multiple smaller tools were needed throughout the job to properly work the difficult sections and achieve the clean finish we guarantee on every project. It’s the sort of detail that often goes unnoticed once completed — but it makes all the difference in the final result.

The second property was a much more straightforward turnaround, allowing us to get stuck in and leave another fresh smooth finish ready for decorating. No matter the size of the job, the goal stays the same — quality workmanship and happy customers from start to finish. 👍

Another solid week completed with more walls restored, more rooms refreshed and more customers looked after across the area.

Now it’s time for some well-earned rest and recovery before we go again next week! 💪🍻

🛠️ SITE UPDATE | Resurface Plastering & Rendering Services

Another new customer on the books today as work began on a home renovation project involving the transformation of one large bedroom into two separate spaces — a new office and bedroom setup.

After tackling the stud work and dry lining himself, the customer called us in to complete the final plastering stage. Following a few minor adjustments to certain areas so we could confidently offer our guarantee, it was time to scrim and skim.

With plaster reportedly being difficult to work with over the last few days, we decided to bring in Half Time — an accelerator and improver — and what a difference it made. The plaster was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish, helping us achieve a clean finish and keep the job moving smoothly.

Another happy customer, another quality finish delivered, and one very satisfied plasterer heading home tonight. 👌

And I’m back with some photos from the last couple of days’ work for another great customer.

This customer wanted to freshen up the new home before fully settling in. As he already had belongings in the property, we worked around everything to keep the job moving smoothly.

On day one, we prepped and plastered one room first so all furniture and belongings from the other rooms could be moved into there. Once everything was relocated, we then prepped the remaining rooms ready for us to return and plaster today.

This one definitely tested us. The plaster was behaving a bit awkwardly with uneven drying times from the multi-finish, which can happen from time to time. It made achieving the level of finish we expect a tougher job than usual, but we don’t cut corners and we don’t compromise on quality.

With patience, experience, and attention to detail, we achieved the finish we guarantee and left yet another very happy customer. 👌

Another good day’s graft for Resurface Plastering & Rendering Services 💪

This one is now fully skimmed and finished off today 👌

The customer had done all the boarding herself and had actually done a pretty decent job to be fair. We went over everything properly beforehand, made a few corrections where needed, added the beading and scrim, then got it all skimmed out ready to transform the space.

Preparation and attention to detail always make the difference when it comes to achieving a quality finish, and we never compromise on either. Another customer over the moon with the result 🙌

Another busy week here at Resurface Plastering & Rendering Services. A bit of work helping out another plasterer, alongside plenty of hacking back old render in preparation for one of our own full re-render projects. Pictures to follow once completed 👌

We have priced a lot of work recently and, apart from a few scattered days, we are now booked up until the first week of July — which we’re hugely grateful for. Thank you to everyone continuing to recommend and support the business.
