Lovely day on the Camel trail from Padstow to Bodmin. Beautiful cycle route on very good track with coffee shops and cafes along the way. There's plenty of bike hire places in Padstow, Wadebribge and Bodmin so you can choose the part you do easily. Wadebridge to Padstow is riding by the open estuary and upriver follows the River Camel to Bodmin. We timed it perfectly to see the Bodmin to Wenford steam train pulling off too. Magical.

Great news for our guests. Chilling out and slowing down in Cornwall just got faster. Full Fiber broadband has arrived at Tehidy so our WiFi is now 12 times more powerful than it has been to now. Being connected while you relax is easier and still free.

With a low Spring tide the beach between Chapel Porth and Porthtowan is open all the way. It's a wonderful stroll between these two gorgeous coves. September is here but we are still enjoying 21 to 23 Centigrade temperatures and the sea is lovely. Happy September with Tehidy Holiday Park

A heart warming review from one of our lovely guests
We have had a lovely holiday, three generations in the cottage, lots of room and facilities to not trip over each other. The washing facilities were particularly helpful to get wet laundry washed and dried, can not fault the cottage one bit. The owners are on hand to help if anything is needed as well which is nice.

Location - its perfect for Portreath, Hayle, Perrenporth, Newquay ect so many places to choose from.

Value for money in August is amazing, I'd challenge you to find some where in Cornwall that accommodates 8 people for this price thats excellent.

Another lovely review from a lovely guest. So nice...

I absolutely love staying at this site. My first stay at Tehidy was 10 years ago, I have been pretty much every year since.

The site is stretched over a hill, a small park and an ideal quiet setting. Park lights out by 9pm, children laughing and playing within the grounds, quiet evenings, starlings flying over head, the sound of bees and all that nature has to offer.

The site is always so well maintained and Richard is always a welcoming face. This place has become my home from home every year and I can honestly say that this will not change anyday soon.

I have stayed in both the static caravans and cottages over the years- these are always up to the best standards, clean, tidy and the bedding always smells incredible.

I commented to Richard this year how the mattresses are the comfiest ever. There is nothing worse than going away and you barley sleep through discomfort, the beds are always so comfy and after busy days I always feel rested and restored.
