Another lovely review from a lovely guest. So nice...

I absolutely love staying at this site. My first stay at Tehidy was 10 years ago, I have been pretty much every year since.

The site is stretched over a hill, a small park and an ideal quiet setting. Park lights out by 9pm, children laughing and playing within the grounds, quiet evenings, starlings flying over head, the sound of bees and all that nature has to offer.

The site is always so well maintained and Richard is always a welcoming face. This place has become my home from home every year and I can honestly say that this will not change anyday soon.

I have stayed in both the static caravans and cottages over the years- these are always up to the best standards, clean, tidy and the bedding always smells incredible.

I commented to Richard this year how the mattresses are the comfiest ever. There is nothing worse than going away and you barley sleep through discomfort, the beds are always so comfy and after busy days I always feel rested and restored.

Fresh sourdough baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolate first thing in the morning. Sounds great. At Tehidy Holiday Park our campers and guests in our holiday caravans or holiday cottages can enjoy a bit of delicious indulgence before heading out for a hard day on the beach.

Another lovely review
We’ve just come back from a fantastic holiday at Tehidy holiday park. The caravan was spotless and really lovely. Great value for money! The site is really peaceful, well maintained and the staff are so friendly. We’ll definitely be back! Perfect location to explore so much of Cornwall.

The beautiful sunshine carries on. Dappled light through the trees on the valley walk from the park. The sun has got a lovely surprise in store for us this August. On 12th August between 6 and 8pm we have a nearly full solar eclipse and Cornwall is one of the best places to see it from. When was the last time you saw a solar eclipse as the sun set over the ocean?

A visit to Cornwall often means a visit to Trelissick National Trust and a walk through the estate and along the estuary, with it's ancient oak woodlands, past the iconiic King Harry Ferry. Not every visitor uses the ferry, Sometimes, like this lovely Curlew they just want the tide to go out so they can get back to the serious business of searching for food. Curlew are still common to see along this unspoilt part of the Fal estuary.
Trelissick gardens are on the south coast just 25 to 30 minutes from Tehidy, an easy trip out for a gorgeous walk. Enjoy your summer break at Tehidy near Portreath and perfectly placed for exploring.
