🍷 Good w**e, great company and connections that flow! 🍷

Our latest Chamber networking evening brought 24 members representing 15 different businesses together at The Wee Bar, hosted by award-winning Chamber member CRU Hospitality, for a w**e tasting with a difference.

With spectacular views of Inverness Castle as the backdrop, Scott Murray guided us through four w**es, a Cava and a Port, sharing his knowledge and experiences along the way. Paired with delicious charcuterie nibbles, it was an evening full of laughter and lively conversation – proving that some of the best business conversations happen when you step away from the ‘office’.

As Abbie McCahill, Managing Director of Adder Business Ltd., put it, “It seemed a lovely opportunity to network in a slightly different environment. Great event, thank you to the organisers!”

And Louise Ross, Commercial Manager at Highland News & Media, described it as “a thoroughly enjoyable evening with fantastic w**es, great company and plenty of opportunities to network and make new connections.”

A huge thank you to Scott and the team at The Wee Bar for hosting us so warmly, and to everyone who joined us. These relaxed, social events are a brilliant way to strengthen existing relationships and discover the breadth of businesses in our Chamber community.

Join us for a business breakfast with Highlands and Islands Enterprise, bringing together Chair Angus Campbell, Chief Executive Stuart Black and Area Manager – Inner Moray Firth Audrey MacIver.

Angus will introduce the session, Stuart will then look at HIE’s strategy and the key issues facing the region, and Audrey will focus on projects and priorities across the Inner Moray Firth. There’ll also be time for your questions and the chance to hear more about HIE’s plans.

🌟 Rising Stars: making connections, creating opportunities

What happens when you put ambitious emerging businesses in a room full of potential customers, collaborators and fellow entrepreneurs?

At Highland Spotlight, our Rising Stars had the chance to showcase what they do, build their confidence and make connections that could shape what comes next.

In this highlights video, Lauren Geddes of Catalyse Business Solutions, Kurtis McMillan of Gàradh and Leah Campbell of Serenity Style share what the experience meant for them - from discovering new opportunities and potential partnerships to simply feeling supported by the wider Highland business community.
