The build is really starting to take shape, with underfloor heating going in this week and windows and doors up next.

It’s at this stage that you start to get a real sense of the scale, layout and flow of the finished home.

A new future for Fairfield Road. 🌱

The former Fairfield Care Home has stood empty since 2018. Our plans will bring the site back into use with three family homes, while retaining the original facade and structure of the two Victorian buildings.

Keeping that character was important to us from the outset. As our Director, Bob Mathieson, told The Press & Journal:

“We’re trying to maintain the character of one of the most important and original streets in Inverness.”

The two existing buildings will be transformed into individual homes, with a new contemporary property created between them, bringing something new to the site without losing the history and character of the original building.
