RTS Meter Switch off 🏠

Since June 2025 there has been a phased switch off of RTS (Radio Teleswitch Service) meters, which you might have if there is electric heating in your property!

If this affects you, your supplier will be in contact if they haven't already to ask that you book an appointment to get your meter changed. Ofgem says that your energy supplier must offer you a solution. So, even if your supplier said no to replacing your RTS meter before, you should try again. Your supplier should upgrade you to a new meter free of charge.
