Meet the Team - Teresa Pemberton - Estates Administrator

Teresa is from a family. She attended Writtle Agricultural College and then worked in the grain trade as a farm trader and in the malting industry. Later, she was Group Secretary for the NFU Online working in south .

Teresa worked for Summers Wykes-Sneyd for 12 years before the merger with Landbridge. Teresa deals with all aspects of Estate Management, including dealing with the RPA in respect of Basic Payment Scheme applications and all stewardship schemes.

Married to a farmer, they work in partnership on the family and beef cattle enterprise. Teresa has three children, all involved in . Teresa has been heavily involved with Young Farmers for many years and is currently Suffolk YFC President.

Meet the Team - Oliver North - Assistant Surveyor

After graduating from The Royal Agricultural University with a Masters degree in , Oliver joined Landbridge in August 2020. He is currently working towards his professional Chartered Surveyor qualifications with the RICS, and Registered Valuer accreditations with the CAAV.

Oliver is currently involved with all aspects of land agency, especially management, assisting the senior members of the team.

Originally from a family in Northamptonshire, Oliver is now living in and enjoys playing cricket, golf and rugby and has a keen interest in field sports.

Christine joined us in 2021 having spent 27 years with an International Logistics and Fulfilment Group where she looked after the Chief Executive and Directors. Christine is the Office Manager responsible for ensuring all aspects of business support are supplied to the Partners and .

Christine has one adult child who recently qualified as a Dentist. In her spare time Christine enjoys cycling the countryside, gardening and being walked by her two Terriers.

James moved from Bidwells after 35 years in April 2021 to join Landbridge as an equity Partner.

Having worked in the property industry in , James specialises in professional rural where he applies a forward thinking and energetic approach to an enhancing client property. James also advises on the restructuring of and businesses, helping family reorganisation and generational succession. He acts as a Trustee and Director to a number of established farming estates and businesses in East Anglia and further afield.

James lives in with his wife and two children and enjoys country living, which includes in his spare time sailing, gardening and, when time really allows, reading.

Meet the Team - Ben Wheaton - Partner

Ben is from a farming family in Suffolk and graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in . He joined Summers Wykes-Sneyd in August 2014 where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and became a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Ben is an RICS Registered Valuer and became a Partner of Landbridge in 2020. Having grown up on a diversified family farm, Ben has hands on experience of a wide range of and agri-business matters.

Ben is involved in all aspects of rural and , including farm & land agency, services, management of mixed property portfolios, professional consultancy and . He is increasingly involved with development site assessment and planning advice, including Permitted Development.

Ben lives in Ipswich and enjoys travelling, tennis and skiing.

From a farming family in Mid Devon, Will studied at Durham University and The Royal Agricultural University to become a Chartered Surveyor. Will is a Fellow and Director of the Association of Agricultural Valuers and President of the Suffolk Valuers.

Leaving Bidwells in 2010 to set up his own private practice, Will subsequently joined Stephen Fletcher in 2012 to form Fletcher Barton Ltd.

Will deals with a wide range of matters; , , & agency and farm diversification & . He also manages a portfolio of commercial and employment property.

Will lives in Bury St Edmunds with his wife and two young children, he enjoys rugby, cricket and field sports.
