80mm may not seem like a lot but it could make all the difference during an emergency. Building Regulations require a minimum of 2000mm from the Stair Pitch Line and Bulkhead, however this property did not comply. This was certainly poor planning on the part of the developer.

This isn’t supposed to happen! On checking the boiler flue, it completely fell away and had clearly not been installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. This is a very serious issue and could result in dangerous gases entering the property. Luckily our surveyors spotted this in time!
