Homes that have great listing photos get way more visibility online. Here are 5 things to do to help get great pictures of your property:

🏠 Declutter
One of the most important things you can do to prepare your home for listing photos is to declutter. This means getting rid of any unnecessary items that may be lying around, such as clothes, toys, or knick-knacks. By decluttering your home, you will make it look more spacious and inviting, which will appeal to potential buyers.

🏠 Clean
Another important step in preparing your home for listing photos is to clean it from top to bottom. This means dusting, vacuuming, and scrubbing all surfaces until they are spotless. You may even want to hire a professional cleaner to ensure that your home is sparkling clean for the photos.

🏠 Paint the walls
If your walls are looking a bit tired, consider giving them a fresh coat of paint before taking listing photos. A new coat of paint can brighten up a space and make it look more inviting. When choosing a paint color, opt for something neutral that will appeal to a wide range of people.

🏠 Let in Natural Light
Another way to prepare your home for listing photos is to let in as much natural light as possible. Open all of the curtains and blinds and turn on any lights that will help brighten up the space. The more light there is in your home, the more inviting it will look in the photos.

🏠 Stage Your Home
Once you have decluttered and cleaned your home, the next step is to stage it. This means arranging your furniture and decor in a way that is pleasing to the eye and makes the best use of space. Staging your home will make it look more appealing to potential buyers and help them visualize themselves living there.

Decluttering is not only good for your home but it's good for your mind. Here are 6 things you can do this Summer that will lighten the load:

🏠 Get rid of clothes you haven't worn in a while: Go through your closet and get rid of clothes that you haven't worn in the past year or two. If you're holding onto clothes that you don't wear, chances are you're never going to wear them. Donate them to a local charity or sell them online or at a consignment shop.

🏠 Donate unused items: Take a look around your home and donate any items that you no longer use or need. This could include books, toys, furniture, electronics, etc. There are many charities that would be happy to take these items off your hands.

🏠 Organize your space: A cluttered space can be very overwhelming. Take some time to organize your belongings so that everything has a place. This will make it much easier to keep your space clean and tidy.

🏠 Get rid of duplicates: Do you have multiple items that serve the same purpose? If so, get rid of the duplicates and only keep one or two of each item. For example, if you have three coffee mugs, get rid of two of them and only keep one.

🏠 Simplify your decor: Too much clutter can make a room feel small and cramped. If possible, simplify your decor so that there is less stuff on shelves and surfaces. Less is definitely more when it comes to de-cluttering your home.

🏠 Put it away: One of the best ways to keep your home de-cluttered is to put things away as soon as you're done using them. This will prevent items from piling up and becoming clutter in the first place
