The countdown to Ipswich Book Festival is on! 📚

Last week, Kirsten Hubert and Kelly Hosking joined the team of volunteers for an evening of preparation ahead of this year’s festival, which takes place from 2–4 October.

As a sponsor of the festival, Smith & Co is delighted to be even more involved this year, with Kirsten and Kelly volunteering at Old Custom House throughout the weekend.

We're particularly looking forward to welcoming the fantastic line-up of authors and being part of an event that brings so much to Ipswich's cultural calendar.

For landlords, dealing with a tenancy that has reached the point where possession is needed can be a difficult and often sensitive process.

There are circumstances where a landlord may be able to seek possession, including where:

✅ The tenant has at least three months' rent arrears
✅ The property is to be sold
✅ The landlord or a family member plans to move into the property

The legal process needs to be followed carefully, including serving the correct notice and meeting the relevant requirements.
