Both rooms available are on the top floor, about 120 sqft each with closets and plenty of windows, and come unfurnished. Full bathroom, hall closets, and attic space for storage are shared by the upstairs tenants. A 70 sqft general use den upstairs is also shared by housemates and includes a desk and single bed for occasional guests.
House details: large house has a working fireplace, weight room, guest rooms, rec room with 65" HDTV with 1080i just outside the room with the on-demand movie libraries listed above. The kitchen has most of the gadgets you blissfully but mistakenly thought you'd use. There's a deck and flower garden. There's great acoustic isolation, probably because half of the rooms aren't bedrooms and the padded carpeting.
Existing housemates: This is a good enough deal that we will try to screen people, hopefully favoring those who are intelligent, respectful, and sociable. Also, we have a game night and do stuff together when there's time. A nice thing about living here versus a place with a traditional year-long-lease, where you have to sort of roll the dice about your future, is that if anyone here, at any moment, did not get along, he or she could leave relatively quickly.
