Time truly flies! While Quantum Solutions was founded back in 2009, it was on 17th September 2015 that we moved into our home on Portland Road in Kilmarnock โ€” and what a decade it has been.

Our office has become more than just a workplace. Itโ€™s where we collaborate, innovate, share ideas, celebrate wins, and tackle challenges together. It has been a constant source of stability and support, helping us grow as a team and as a business.

Over the past year, Quantum has achieved its strongest balance yet across both private and public sector projects, adapting to the ever-changing landscape while staying true to our values of teamwork, professionalism, and innovation.

โœจ A real family affair at the Scottish Home Improvement Awards! โœจ

This week, Richard was honoured to join the judging panel for the Scottish Home Improvement Awards at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow.

Even more special โ€“ he was joined by fellow judge (and daughter!) Olivia Neilson, currently studying Architecture at the University of Dundee. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿ›๏ธ

The standard of submissions was incredible โ€“ so many inspiring projects and passionate businesses driving real change in the industry. Congratulations to all the worthy winners and finalists! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ‘

On the 1 August, our team at Quantum Solutions, supported by family and friends, have decided to put down the challenge and climb Goatfell on the Isle of Arran to raise funds for the Catherine McEwan Foundation, a Crohn's & Colitis Charity who are based in Glasgow.

The Catherine McEwan Foundation has the vision to make sure every person in Scotland and beyond suffering from Crohn's, Colitis or other inflammatory bowel disease, has access to the best healthcare and be in the best health possible so they can live life to the full.

This charity has a real connection for Quantum Solutions Director Richard Neilson who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease at the age of 10. Throughout Richard's life, he has learned how to manage his condition and live life to the full always believing that anything is possible.

Inflammatory bowel disease can be very challenging but with a positive outlook, the right support from family, friends, and healthcare professionals, really anything can be achieved!

We would therefore be so thankful it could make a donation to us and support this great charity.

Seven teams from Universities and Colleges across Scotland, all with a passion for the built environment put their skills to the test - tackling a demanding real-world project with innovation, teamwork and professionalism. Beyond the competition, students had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and potential employers.

A couple of weeks ago, Quantum Associate Janice took a trip across the water to the Isle of Arran to take a look at the progress on the Rowarden site ๐Ÿคฉ

Janice was even treated to a trip on the new Calmac Ferry, MV Glen Sannox ๐Ÿšข

We are delighted with the progress on the homes so far and can't wait to see the finished products.

Quantum Solutions is proud to collaborate with the Arran Development Trust on the Rowarden Affordable Housing Project, delivering essential Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to bring much-needed affordable homes to the Isle of Arran.

Kenny was delighted to attend this special event that included an interesting Q&A with some of the Scotland team stars including captain Sione Tuipulotu, Finn Russell and Simon Zebo ๐Ÿคฉ

It wasn't the best result for team Scotland on Sunday, but a great event nonetheless!
