According to Office for National Statistics (ONS) latest data, year-on-year rental growth dropped to 3.8% for King’s Lynn & West Norfolk in August 2026, in line with national averages.

However, this hasn’t been the picture for all property types. Mid-sized properties, especially semi-detached houses, have held at 4.1%, however, and reflects the most popular lets on our books.

The Government announced its rollout plan for its Register Your Rental Property scheme today, and landlords with property in the East of England will have between 15 January 2027 and 14 April 2027 to get themselves and their properties registered.
