🌿 Working outdoors certainly has its perks!

While we were busy working, this little mouse appeared in the brambles and happily helped itself to a blackberry. 🐭

It wasn’t scared or bothered by us at all—it simply carried on enjoying its lunch while we watched from just a few feet away.

We’re fortunate to work in some beautiful locations across South Devon, and moments like this are a lovely reminder of the wildlife all around us.

Sometimes it’s worth putting the tools down for a moment and appreciating nature up close! 🫐🌿

Another strong, practical fence completed in Ivybridge this week.

Built with four horizontal rails for additional strength and to match the neighbouring fence. Postsaver sleeves were fitted to every timber post for added protection and long-term durability.

The gravel boards were individually cut around the existing concrete pad, creating a clean, level finish—completed with neat rebated capping.

A new shiplap garden gate, handmade and fitted on site in Modbury yesterday afternoon between our other projects.

Built to fit the space perfectly and finished with hidden fixings for a strong, clean and professional appearance.

🔨 Flat Roof Leak Repair 🔨

We were called out to investigate and repair a leak around this flat roof.

The existing cladding was removed, along with the capping stones. The stones were then relaid with the correct fall to help direct rainwater away from the roof.

All joints were resealed using new roofing felt and adhesive before a new timber framework was built, securely fixed to the wall and finished with new cladding.

The original capping rail featured a detailed edge, so we carefully recreated the same profile on the replacement to match the existing finish.

Everything is now fully sealed, rebuilt and completed—ready to withstand the weather. 🌧️✅
