✨ Sunday – Thursday: Only £80 per night!
✨ Friday & Saturday: £90 per night PLUS a complimentary extra hour for check-out (enjoy a lazy Sunday morning until 11:00 AM!).

At Pretty View Cottage, we always value our guests’ feedback. 💛

Recently, a guest mentioned they were concerned about their young child accidentally breaking our dinnerware. After hearing this, we purchased a set of four plastic plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery sets, which can now be found in the second drawer down in the kitchen.

These are perfect for our younger visitors and also make a great alternative for meals enjoyed out in the garden. 🌺

We truly appreciate guest feedback - without it, we wouldn’t know where we can make improvements. Thank you for helping us make every stay even more comfortable for future guests. 💛

“Fantastic place. You have thought of everything. Peaceful, quiet, and with friendly locals.

I came as a child many times in the 1950s on the train from Doncaster and have fond memories of Hornsea. The only thing I could suggest is a mirror in the upstairs bathroom!

Thank you for the wine, bread, and eggs.

I have been in many Airbnbs and places abroad and in the UK, and this is probably the best I have ever stayed in!”

Chapter 6 of 12 – 2026

May has been such a lovely month, filled with wonderful guests, familiar faces returning, and so many special moments. Thank you to everyone who chose to spend time here, your visits make this place what it is 💗

As we turn the page to June, summer feels just around the corner. The days are beautifully long, the gardens are flourishing, and the countryside is looking its absolute best. There’s a wonderful sense of calm and warmth at this time of year, perfect for slowing down, enjoying the fresh country air, and making the most of those lighter evenings. 🌿☀️

May was a busy one, with 21 of our 31 nights booked, and I’m so grateful for the support and kindness shown throughout the month. 💕

June is already filling up quickly, but there are still a dates available if you’re dreaming of a relaxing countryside escape before the height of summer arrives. I’d love to welcome you.
