Energy performance certificates are important
When you sell or rent a property out in the UK, Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are a legal requirement. Here is what you need to know:
You must have a valid EPC before marketing the property for sale.
The EPC shows the property's energy efficiency rating (A= most efficient rating, G = least efficient) and is valid for 10 years.
