We bought this house in August 2020, and it took us much longer than expected to get finished.

We got it let in February 2021!

Thanks to all the hard work from our PM we managed to at least make this a beautiful house for a family to enjoy.

Now this one is ✅✅✅ we’re on to the next one! We can’t wait to show you this one and move forward to our new project!

What’s your thoughts on the dark Matt kitchen trend at the moment? Gotta say we bloody love it.
It adds that really feeling of warmth and depth to a space.
This number is one of our favourites.
We put it in our 5th project and really hope that it provides our customers with years of pleasure!

Great design and finish by on this 3 bed property in Hull.

It was our first project together where it was project managed by us, there were definitely challenges along the way! We believe this is the first of many and these guys will continue improving the Hull rental market. They have great ideas for design and provide a product like now other.

Now to begin the one 10 doors down in a few weeks.

We bought this house in a terrible condition. There was no kitchen, the house was in a dreadful 🏚state & required a full refurb. We have refurbished this house to a high standard to provide a great home for a family to enjoy & grow in!

One of the highlights of our current project.

The flooring looks cracking & we are really happy with the tiling too. This is going to make a great family bathroom.

This certainly hasn’t been the easiest of projects at all, our builder walked off site for one thing, causing untold stress & adding to an already spiralling completion date!.... but I’ll cover that in a future post.

Couple of photos of the kitchen at Once fully finished this is going to look great.

Boiler boxed in, sink in, worktops on, starting to take shape.

We’re getting there now. Carpet was laid yesterday so will get some decent photos together & post that shortly. At some stage we’ll talk through our design ideas & how we planned out each room.

The kitchen is a nice large area so we wanted to make this the statement piece of the house. A real hub for the person that is going to live here. Somewhere they can enjoy with function & will hold up nicely over time.

2020 hasn’t been the year we expected eh?

We’ve been locked in & locked-down.

We’ve had to deal with a different life than we were expecting.

It’s been a strange one.

It’s nice to take a bit of time to reflect on what’s gone on.

Analyse our actions, our mistakes, our wins & our loses.

We’ll be having our Directors meet up later this month to go through our review of this year & our goals for next year.

Fingers crossed that 2021 is full of more laughter, fun & energy than 2020!

Crikey. Our coming along nicely now. We’ve got a project manager on board for this one who is taking care of things for us! So far we couldn’t be happier. Honestly can’t stress how much hassle it takes off our hands! If you’re an investor do you get someone else to manage the day to day stuff for you or are you hands on yourself?

This is going to be a cracking 3 bed house for a family to enjoy.

This shot is of the kitchen, we’ll get some decent photos up of the finished article! But for now this’ll have to do!

Project number 5 underway

We had to replace the front door first thing as you could have literally blown it off it’s hinges!

We’ve been a little slow with this house to be honest. We bought it about 3 months ago and we didn’t line the refurb up straight away. So now, due to our own inaction, it has been sat empty for 3 months, with no progress, up until this week! Now we have & on the case!

Our tip: Get your refurbed lined up ASAP!

Good trades & builders are damn busy right now! So get them prepped & ready to rock as soon as you can! Otherwise you may have a scenario like we did! At the end of the day if certainly isn’t the worst thing in the world to be delayed by a few months, but we’ll learn from that & make damn sure we get them in quicker next time!

A little bit of Sunday reflection.

There is honestly nothing better than having a few relaxing moments to reflect on the week gone, enjoy a coffee and catch up on what is going on in the financial world.

If you don’t already subscribe to I highly suggest you do!!!!

I like to keep on top of what is going on in the finance world as it is often reflected in the property market somewhere further down the line, be it 3 or 6 months, or even a year. It is also great to have an overview of finance/money in general & a little reaffirmation of why property is Manning White's chosen business. For me storing money in the banks/stocks/shares is all well & good, but your money doesn't work particularly hard for you whilst there. Whilst I do invest in stocks & shares, I choose long term investments & don't pick individual stocks/shares, but rather ETFs or trackers. I choose to invest the majority of my money into the property business as this is my area of expertise. Where we, as a business, can make an amazing ROI & build for the future.
