Follow the yellow brick road.... it may not be yellow but that’s the colour of many of the fallen leaves along the winding wilderness of the lane leading to The Hayloft 🍁
Many of our guests tell us they think ‘this surely can’t be right!’ when they turn off the main road onto this secretive track surrounded by rugged natural beauty ... but yes! ... along the lane, round a corner, up the hill and there you’ll find the glass gable end of the barn conversion

Barn Conversion Decisions...
When we were converting the old barn into the beautiful holiday you see today, there were SO many decisions to be made!!
We love the contrast of the stone wall and feather edge boarding that surrounds the outside of The Hayloft.
Local stonemason Les Lewis created this gorgeous stone artwork for us and as the wooden boards have started to weather, the colours look stunning together

B E D R O O M S ... The Hayloft has 5 bedrooms each with a subtle theme
This is one is my second favourite (after the master bedroom). Sky blue throws, check curtains and cushions, with hints of oak creeping in through the beams and furniture to give that warm cosy feeling

The B A T H ... it’s generous size gives you plenty of room to sink in and enjoy a long relaxing soak
We love the mix of the traditional taps and shower head with the modern freestanding bath

The bugs were being a little camera shy today, but we found a little wild woodland mushroom...
