This is great stuff for helping Insulate masonry walls of old stone cottages and listed buildings.
Most traditional buildings are made of permeable materials and do not incorporate the barriers to external moisture such as cavities, rain-screens, damp-proof courses, vapour barriers and membranes which are standard in modern construction. As a result, the permeable fabric in older buildings tends to absorb more moisture, which is then released by internal and external evaporation. When traditional buildings are working as they were designed to, the evaporation will keep dampness levels in the building fabric below the levels at which decay can start to develop. This is often referred to as a ‘breathing’ building.

Roof was leaking in at the front of property and on corner of gable end due to having no felt, bottom meter of breathable felt applied with new battens and bedded and pointed bottom three ridge tiles..

(did advise to a get re-slate)

Chimney Potts was letting in water causing damage to the inside of property.So removed two Potts and replaced with two five inch metal cowls and capped stack with waterproof sand & cement.

all so cleaned four gutter joints of flash band and sealed them correctly.

Plastering job i have been on for last two week.
Kitchen and living room refurbishment.

Over boarded a ceiling with fire board and making arch way square
bits of partition work and skimming both rooms.

big pointing and rendering job i have been on for past five week. all complete now.

Pointing to front of terraced with gable.
Rendering to back of property.
Plus few extras like sealing round windows etc.
