Austwick C of E Primary School We are a small primary school set in a rural village in the Yorkshire Dales. We offer wrap around care and places to children from 4 years onwards.

Our wonderful and extensive grounds offer plenty of opportunities to take the curriculum outside.

On Tuesday Year 3 and 4 had a trip to Ripon Cathedral with Mrs Bentley, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Smith. The children took part in activities about different 'roots'- within the cathedral itself, within the Christian faith and our own personal roots in which we feel grounded.

On Wednesday 29th April we had our SIAMS inspection. We are pleased to say we have received an extremely positive inspection report, confirming that we are living up to our foundations as a church school and enabling pupils and adults to flourish.

The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England.
