Recently refurbished these kitchen table chairs, for a client whose kitchen table itself is over 100yrs old and originated from Italy. Over the years the joints had loosened to result in wobbly chairs, so we took these into the workshop, fixed and sanded them. We then brought them back to life with teak oil and they match the table perfectly.

We've been busy today, the timber fascias on this dorma window were rotting so our client asked us to see what we could do to fit there budget. You can see that we cut out the effected areas and replaced with new timber, sanded smooth then repainted all the white work. We enjoy doing jobs like this just as much as getting stuck into larger projects.

A garden shed with a glazed lean to and a rotten roof has recently had the 4B2 touch, to turn it into a useable space again and to a budget that was by far better than the cost of anything that could be brought from a garden centre. Decoration before Christmas..!! 4B2 Property Maintenance found 2 days in a very busy pre-Christmas schedule to fit in a customers last minute change of Christmas plans by hosting the festive day for their family. Changing the blue feature wall and adding a light grey to the rest of the walls, the ceiling and coving in brilliant white emulsion and door, architrave, skirting and storage area in eggshell white.

4B2 Propert Maintenance offer traditional signwriting in its repertoire of services, now very much a dying art and cottage industry replaced by digital imaging and computer cut lettering. Signwritten, painted signs come with a 20 year external guarantee, something that vinyl applications cannot match. Here we have 2 examples of sign panels, the 1st is of Cheeky Monkey, commissioned for a 3 year old boys Christmas present, it's his nick name..!! The 2nd is a door sign for Crow Cottage the white and green were chosen to match the cottages external timber and the portrait orientation compliments the front door and windows. Kindly get in contact with any signwriting enquires which also includes burnished gold leaf to windows and gilding onto any substrate.

A tiling job that highlights what hides beneath. The work as you can see from these photos entailed new tiling between work surface to wall cabinets and around the kitchen window, The client chose to remove the original tiles, a dark brown 1970's style that were to ugly to photograph. Whilst removing the offending items a fair amount of damage was revealed, in particular the ledge around the window was a crumbling mess, the worst of the areas were relined with 9mm plywood to give a flat substrate to tile. The client chose to have the new tiles fixed in a brick effect design and the tiling was completed with a bead of white sealant at the work surface joint to prevent any surface water discolouring the grout. Do note the tile that a wall double socket came very close to the lower left hand corner of the tile. Lesser trades people would just piece the tile around and use a wider grouting joint, at 4B2 and competent tillers, go that extra mile in attention to detail, cutting a hole in the tile, isolate the electricity supply, remove the socket faceplate and fit the tile correctly.

A decorating job that had a time limit, the client was to be away between 9:00am & 4:00pm, the room size is 4.5m x 9.3m with 2.4m ceiling height. The job was to paint the ceiling white matt emulsion, walls magnolia silk emulsion, skirting boards & door architrave satin wood and strip embossed wallpaper on the fire place and add a feature paper. 2 workers arrived on-site at 8:50, started at 9:05 when the client was picked up and after completing the work, replaced furniture, tidied and vacuumed the work was completed at 3:40pm.

This customers living room was tired and dated with a 1970's style condemed fireplace and magnolia paint everywhere. A simple redecoration was required and a bespoke firplace added.
