We recently received a call from someone experiencing a serious damp issue in their living room. They mentioned a pile of rubbish between the house and garage, initially appearing as just a stack of leaves. However, upon closer inspection (as seen in the attached photo and videos), it turned out to be a deceptive collection of bricks left over from a previous job many years ago. After removing the bricks, the mold issue was successfully addressed.

EPC changes - What do they mean for landlords?
A recent mandatory requirement from 2025, all newly rented properties will be required to have an EPC rating of C or above, and the rollout to introduce the requirement to all tenancies (rather than just at renewal) is expected to start in 2028📣📣
