Shocking admission by Lafarge’s parent company, Switzerland’s Holcim, that has issued a statement saying that Lafarge had pled guilty to one count of “conspiring to provide material support to designated foreign terrorist organisations”, brought before the US Courts, after which Lafarge Cement Syria (LCS) stopped operating.
Lafarge had paid Isis to allow them to carry on trading while expecting the terrorist group to prevent other cement manufacturers operating in Syria.
