Our team got called out to an urgent roofing issue at a property in Stoke late last week. On initial and obvious inspection, it was clearly apparent what the issue was. The landlord had a friend do some patching work previously, which was far from a permanent fix 😅

Our amazing team went the next day to fit a full new dry ridge system for the tenant, to stop any leaks and further roofing problems!

Today’s job was:

- Treat all mould on all four walls to remove it
- Apply base cost of stain block and specialist anti mould sealant
- Paint all four walls in Magnolia bathroom paint, for a durable and long lasting finish
- Paint ceiling in white bathroom paint

Client delighted, tenant happy, job complete ✅

We even went the extra mile and identified a ceiling on the adjoining bedroom that had water stains from a previous leak, so we treated and painted this for them free of charge too! 🧑‍🎨🏡

Transformation, Roofing Hell! 🏡

Our team did a full new roof last week. The existing roof was the original, 130 year old one! They even found it was supported by old bits of tree that must have been cut to shape over a century ago, so intriguing! 🪵 🌴

Also the photo of the chimney with the gaping hole in the centre, that’s been there for years! No wonder the property had water ingress 💦

The roof was removed, new felt and batons, new lead work, chimney course taken down along with repairs to the top. Unbelievably almost every slate was in perfect condition so they were reused to save cost, with 50-70 being replaced.

Full new roof, all watertight and ready for years of hassle free living without the worry of problems ✅
