Working environments: interior design is personal. From the home to the (home) office… what works for one won’t necessarily work for the other & that’s okay🤩
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I don’t have a ‘one-shoe-fits-all’ system, because frankly that’s just not going to be the best experience for my clients.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When I’m given a task such as designing a home office, it’s my mission to find out how best my clients work.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whether they’re early birds or night owls, whether they thrive in well-lit open spaces or feel far more comfortable cocooning in a hygge-esque environment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I like to ask questions about everything from ‘what specific items do we need to store in the space?’ to ‘talk me through your day, what do your different tasks look like including breaks?’ And most importantly ‘what or which locations energises and inspires you?’✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Delving deep into the answers, I’m able to better understand my clients needs beyond surface level, in-order to create a space that keeps them focused, provides comfort & allows inspiration / energy to flow throughout the work day👌🏼
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our environment impacts us more than we often realise, and a well-designed & well-throughout space is a key element on achieving our goals💫
