Just a few months ago the hedge and tree in our garden was massively overgrown and starting to cause problems not just for us but also our lovely neighbours.

We didn’t realise just how much light was being blocked previously and we definitely don’t miss the creepy crawlies! ☀️ 🐜

So over the last few months we have been busy and thanks to tree man (what a hero) clearing the garden we were then able to start with the fence!

So after many hours of hard work we finally celebrated yesterday once we fitted the final panel in place! 🎉

We are so thankful to have been able to do this and it has really improved our relationship with our neighbours who now enjoy sitting in their garden for a cuppa ☕️

Well it happened. The house is now ours. Since we already live here there’s no real ‘we have the keys’ photo opportunity so we have to settle for these two beauts standing outside. Their first response to the news? “When can we paint our room?”

Big thanks to for partnering with us on this amazing adventure where we have seen God go beyond what we could have hoped or imagined.

Thanks to all of you fir your prayers and support in this and also for those have partnered with us financially.

JOIN IN THE JOURNEY!
We are rattling through paperwork, emails and phone calls all to make this house purchase a possibility within the next few months.
We are so thankful to all of you who have been a part of this journey, those who have prayed for us, those who have given gifts to help us with a deposit and fees, and to those who have lent large amounts of money to mission housing to make this purchase possible. We are so thankful to God for you all.
We couldn’t be more certain that God will get us through these next few weeks and help us see completion, but we are still looking for people to partner with us. We need around £1500 to help cover the last remaining fees such as solicitors and mortgages.
If you feel led by God to give towards that and be a part of this amazing journey then do let us know.

We are fully funded!

We have been quiet over the summer! But our first post back comes with exciting news! We have today received a pledge of £25,000 to our home buying journey. This puts us pretty much half way of our total required amount.

With this we are inviting all those interested to join a zoom with us on September 7th at 8pm to hear all about our upcoming year and our ministry plans, plus we will hear from Phil Green, CEO of mission housing, where he will share about their vision and why they partner with people like us to buy houses.

This is our house! Where we currently live and rent!
Today we finally received word from our landlady. The valuation of the house is £260K. This is an answer to prayer as in truth this is the lowest possible amount we could have hoped for. We are praising God and trusting Him that as he opens the door He will provide all we need to step through it. Please pray with us.
