Developers could not care less about the state of the garages that they build and we regularly see one horror story after another. The brick walls at all developments are always of a shoddy construction and the last time we saw a neat, tidy mortar finish with walls free from staining and mortar splashes was the best part of 10 years ago! Developers so need to up their game on so many levels!

I think I would cry if I spent £595,000 on my new house and found an appalling sealant finish throughout every singe room as in this new build house. Presenting the developer with a snagging inspection report is a constructive way to get all snags sorted in one fell swoop rather than calling the developer every time you come across a defect which almost always will simply drag on and on and once the developer has got fed up with you calling sadly some will never get resolved and could cost you financially in the long term.
