The process of finding a place to live as a student.

When you use Google, you get the places with the best SEO, not the best accommodations.

However, they can play into each others hand.

If you are googling try different keywords and phrases, also don't be afraid to give FB a go.

The next step is viewing it. This will give you an idea of the house.

Do your checks on the agency.

Read the contract and understand what you are responsible for and what you need to pay.

If you are happy and want to book, go ahead!

Our main goal is to help students find a place to live. We do that by using the contacts we are building to refer students to houses that meet their criteria.

Along side that, we have a few more projects, one is a shop where they can buy and arrange the things they need to be delivered at a time they want.

We currently use third parties for the service and is something we are testing and working on!

How do we help students? We will tell you all our secrets!

Firstly, because student accommodation is such a big choice, you can enquire and book through the website to keep it quick and efficient.

You can also fill in our form which will then allow us to have a look for accommodation for you. This is done on what you tell us and we will then send you some options back and then keep refining until we get the right place.

You can ask us any questions around, booking cancellation, deposits or anything like that and we can give you an independent view of the situation because we are an independent UK based marketplace or agent (however you would like to define us).

We try and make as many friends who have student houses as possible so that we can show you all the student houses, rather than just the big blocks.

We have a few select partners in order to make students life a bit easier, and they are bills, insurance and products like bedding, cutlery etc and in most of the places you get a discount if you book using our affiliate code.

It's free for students to use and ask about. There is no charge, if you are interested in where the money comes from, it's if we book a room with a provider. They usually give a kickback of a certain percent which varies per provider.

Should student loans increase? What happens if students are allowed to receive student loans?

I don't necessarily think the standard is getting much better, I just think the costs are going up and it is being passed on to students.

There are some providers out there that are challenging the standards, but keeping the prices down to make the business viable is another consideration.

I think this is why much good quality HMOs get snapped up earlier and earlier every year.

When you add in the cost of living as well as a student and it can soon mount up.

What is everyone elses thoughts on this?
