What a day, and a what a result!!!

Linton are regional winners in Round 4 of the Cawston Press National Village Cup!!!

The lads really turned up to see off a high class side from Eaton Socon CC. Thanks to our opposition who made it a great contest and brought plenty of travelling support.

A less nail biting finish than last time; Captain Stanley Leech & Luke Ennew saw things home with some fine & cool headed batting.

Did someone say double header!?

We will also be supporting Linton Aztecs Football Club presentation day down at the Pavilion / Rec today. Aztecs have a great day lined up supporting their players, Club & junior sport in the village!

The Pavilion bar is stocked with Fruit Shoots through to Old Mouts, and is taking card payments (cash only for the rest of proceedings).

National Village Cup Regional Final 🏆🏏

This Sunday, the Eagles take on in the National Village Cup Regional Final!

After a fantastic run through the competition, we are now just one win away from reaching the national knockout stages, and we would love as much support as possible on what promises to be a huge day for the club.

It's here!! Regional Finals Day!!

Linton’s cricketers face further tough opposition from Eaton Socon CC in the Regional Final (Round 4) of the National Village Cup!

It is Linton’s inaugural year in this prestigious competition - the final of which is played at Lord’s.

Having defeated Winterton CC (Norfolk), Grantchester CC (Cambridge) and Barnack CC (Nr. Peterborough) in Rounds 1, 2 and 3 can they do it again?

Wow, what a day!! Mettle was tested, nerves were held - and Linton were… winners!!!

Linton knocked off the target with one ball, and one wicket, to spare. Safe to say it was a tense one!

Thank you very much to Barnack CC who were a great bunch and excellent competition. We would also like to extend a hearty thanks to all those who came down to watch & support today!!
