For those wishing to pay their final respects to my father Arthur Rudd the funeral will take place on Tuesday 11th November at 12oclock at Greatham Village Church with the wake happening at the Royal Oak in Hollywater

Yesterday, this world sadly lost a local legend, Arthur Rudd SNR. As I am sure anyone who knew him will remember his fascinating stories, his amazing work ethic and his ability to remember with pinpoint access, where anything was in his aladdins cave of a business yard! He was an incredibly unique man and his passing means that this world loses a man who is a classic example of 'they don't make them like that anymore'.

I know that many of you will have very fond memories of him, if you have any that you would like to share in the comments, we would love to hear them.

Naturally, details of his funeral will follow for anyone who would like to pay their final respects.

It's amazing how simple design changes can strongly impact how a Conservatory or Glazed Extension can look. We were asked to help with a replacement conservatory that was very close to the end of its serviceable life and our client wanted a new building that offered low maintenance with added comfort throughout the year (trying to avoid the typical too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter conservatory traits) compared to the existing structure.

I'm really pleased and proud of how this flush casement PVCu conservatory has worked out, with its French grey windows and doors and new redesigned Anthracite grey pitched roof, it has been adapted to blend better with the original host cottage.

Whilst running through some filed paperwork I stumbled across this certificate that we received from CNC Recycling for PVCu recycling in 2022... It feels good to know that we are responsibly disposing of the old windows and doors that we remove for each and every installation that we do.
