Autumn days in the Eden Valley, evenings by the fire at Jenny’s Croft.

A lovely little local find close to The Rowley Estates properties…

Our housekeeper Isla popped into FARM SHOP at Eden Yard at Plumpton and sent us these photos. It’s exactly the sort of place we love recommending to guests, packed with fresh local produce, artisan treats, bread, meat and plenty of goodies to take back to your holiday home.

There’s also coffee and food to enjoy while you’re there, so definitely one to add to the list if you’re exploring the area during your stay.

And we have to say, we love getting recommendations straight from our local team. They always know the best spots! 🥕☕️🥖

Such a lovely moment captured at Melmerby Church 🤍

Last month, Lauren, daughter of our very own Christine, celebrated her wedding at Melmerby Hall, with the ceremony taking place just moments away at the beautiful village church.

We love this candid shot, taken by Helen, one of our housekeepers, with her granddaughter and our housekeeper Cath’s nephew stealing a little bit of the limelight!

There’s something incredibly special about a wedding where the church, the house and the people who know and care for the estate all become part of the story. Congratulations Lauren and family! 🥂🤍
