It's been a busy couple of months at Creekside. We wanted to freshen and brighten the place up whilst at the same time tackling a few things that were in need of a little TLC.
We've had new energy efficient windows and doors fitted throughout, and to complement that bright and fresh look, we also had new fascias fitted. Then to complete the new look we've also fitted a new decking and a glass balustrade to the balcony.
There are still just a couple of minor things to do to finish off, like replacing a couple of fence panels, but for now we hope you'll enjoy the new look of Creekside.

One of our favourite coastal walks and just a few minutes drive from Creekside. Drive through the small hamlet of Crugmeer and park just after the sharp R/H bend on the lane which heads towards the old coastguard cottages. Walk down to the coast at Tregudda Gorge to join the South West Coastal footpath. Turn right, heading towards Stepper Point and on to the Coastwatch building. Following the coastal path towards Padstow you're rewarded with stunning estuary views across to Rock and beyond. Go past the old Coastguard house at Hawker Cove then down to Harbour Cove before turning right and heading away from the coast, uphill to the lane and back to the car. There's a wonderful beach at Harbour Cove to while away some time, and along the lane you can get Cornish cream teas Lellizzick Farm.

One of our favourite walks starts right outside the front door. Best done at low water, the walk follows the creek on the opposite bank, eventually linking up with the Camel Trail near the old railway brdige, and heads into Padstow with fantastic views all the way. The walk back follows The Saints' Way right back to the front door.
The following link gives details of the route, with number 23 of the directions being by the church at the end of the lane.

A circular walk via the Victorian obelisk overlooking Padstow, the creek-side church at Little Petherick and the tidal enclosure of Sea Mills, returning via the Camel Trail bridge which carried the railway that brought the first Victorian tourists to Padstow and Cornish fish to London.
