Brilliant!

Brancaster Staithe Sea Shanty Festival.
Friday 12th 6 pm, Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September from 12 noon
The festival you won’t want to miss, pirate fancy dress optional.
It’s a true village affair, hosted by The Jolly Sailors with the support of Nelson’s Shantymen and Brancaster Staithe village, when 18 roving ‘Sea Shanty Groups’ will sing around and about at The Jolly Sailors, The White Horse, The Village Hall, Deepdale Camping Barn & St Mary’s Church Burnham Deepdale.
The groups will be raising funds along the way for local charities RNLI Hunstanton and NCI Brancaster.

Always be aware of the tides on Wells Beach. You will be cut off 4 hours before high tide. If this happens, ring 999 straightaway, don’t wait. Be safe.

Winter in north norfolk - gorgeous!

How about a snooky pre christmas break? A walk on the endless sands and through the ancient woodland that meets the beach, a coffee and pastry at the beach cafe, some light shopping in the fabulous boutique shops, cheese and wine watching the tide come in, then home with your fish and chips to an open fire and a comfortable bed. Just done it - can recommend!
