PANTRY ORGANISATION

It doesn’t have to be expensive and it doesn’t require a large walk-in pantry
• first step - get everything out, categorise and lay it out so you can see it
• throw away anything out of date
• decide what containers, if any, you want to use.
• fill up your containers and label what’s inside.

A WORD ON CONTAINERS

*Are they necessary? No!
*Do they help? Yes!
*Containers help with a uniform look so your kitchen/pantry feels good to look at and work with
*Containers help you see what you need quickly, without rummaging.
*Containers help you see what you have so you don’t waste food or buy too much.

Sometimes it only takes a few minutes to give a draw a quick refresh. And it makes all the difference.
You don’t have to do everything at once. As a mum of two little ones, I don’t have hours on end to go through every item in the room. But one draw at a time is doable!
Don’t be afraid to do little and often, even if half your knives are still on the drainer!

Hi, I’m Becci and I am passionate about organisation!

As a busy mum of 2 and wife of a naturally messy lorry driver (!!!) I understand that pretty larders and picture perfect playrooms in show-room homes are not the norm, despite what we see on social media.
I started Uncluttered Homes after training with Dilly Carter (BBC Sort Your Life Out) because I am passionate about making organisation functional, about getting rid of the clutter so that what you have works for you!
