This Friends group exists for several reasons, to provide a safe and diverse community for like-minded members to share photos, memories, and experiences of Larkhill gardens, its lake, and gardens. We will continue to do this by welcoming new members, by encouraging members to share content and comment on the posts of others respectfully. The group also wants to become involved in voluntary enterp

rise within the park as a stakeholder partner of Liverpool City Council with the aims of helping to improve the environment, the aesthetics, and the visitor's experience of our beautiful Gardens. We will endeavor to join forces with the park management to elicit change, we will apply for funding to undertake projects in agreement with said management, and we will encourage sponsorship through a shared passion for all of the above. We will also on occasion need to raise money by way of donations and/or the trading/selling of goods to gain sufficient funds to carry out projects in accordance with our aims and objectives. The Facebook group will be a public-facing platform welcoming people who wish to take part in either discussion or volunteering, and we will start to post any potential/ongoing/completed projects as they happen (this is information for everyone). Our group will forge positive relationships with other groups operating within the park in order to be part of a supportive network of volunteers who have similar aims and goals.

Mark your calendar 📅 - Our next meeting is slated for Saturday, 31st January. And guess what? If you were ever thinking about joining us, there couldn't be a better time! You're encouraged to be a part of this meet-up, where we not only prepare our beloved park for the upcoming summer season but also help make key decisions on how to allocate grant money wisely. 💰🌳

And did we mention the free tea and coffee? ☕️ Yes, that's right - warm beverages on us as we work together for the betterment of our community park!

Can everyone please be mindful there is children and wildlife in the ducky please take your litter with you when you leave, there was plastic bags in the lake also…. We will be doing a community litter pick in the next few weeks any help will be welcomed 😊
