We hired Prestige Developments to complete a full ground floor remodel of our home, creating a family-friendly open-plan living space. With two young children, it was important for us to find a company that could manage the entire process, including administration and subcontractors. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would recommend Prestige without hesitation.
The project lasted three months and involved significant structural changes to open up the kitchen, living, and playroom areas, as well as the creation of a utility room.
From the initial quote stage, Prestige’s attention to detail stood out. They were the only company to hand-deliver a clear, itemised quote, which gave us confidence that all costs had been carefully considered—we were keen to avoid any unexpected surprises.
Communication throughout the project was excellent. Alan was consistently available to answer our many questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Any changes we requested were handled efficiently and professionally—for example, when we decided to add wall beading, it was completed the same day.
With so many moving parts, there were naturally a few delays and minor issues along the way, but these were always communicated promptly and handled well. Any concerns we raised were addressed quickly, which made a big difference. We moved out during the works, but Alan was always happy to meet us on-site to walk us through progress.
The quality of workmanship was excellent. Our home was treated with care throughout, even during the more disruptive stages. The driveway was well protected, and attention was given to safeguarding any items that remained in the house.
What really stood out was the respect and collaboration between the trades. In previous projects, we’ve experienced a lack of coordination, but this was the complete opposite. The plumbers, electricians, and joiners all worked to a very high standard and clearly took pride in their work, resulting in a fantastic finish.
The end result has exceeded our expectations. The transformation of the space is incredible, and we’ve barely wanted to leave the house since moving back in—we truly love being in it.
We would not hesitate to use Prestige again for future projects and would confidently recommend them to others.
