Just about everyone has heard the saying:
‘A jack of all trades is a master of none…’
This is often thrown out as a disparaging remark aimed at low level cowboy builders; but I’ll bet you haven’t heard Shakespeare’s full quote, which might cause you to re-evaluate how you think of the saying:
‘A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one.’
I have been in the construction business all my life and have embraced ALL disciplines from groundwork to topping out and finishing. Indeed, the home I live in now I built single handed ALL trades. The photos are of my home as it is today.I was a bathroom fitter for many years, latterly specialising in disabled conversions and now I’m semi retired and looking for an outlet other than watching Netflix and youTube so am setting myself up as a local handyman - but for the last three years I have been troubleshooting and maintaining four hotels in the city centre.I get most satisfaction from problem solving, so If you have a problem - call or message me - no cure - no pay!
