Last week Rob travelled to Lome, Togo for the L’African Cotonnière Africaine (ACA) 2026. Meeting him there we had Michel of WIS Ivory Coast, Pierre of WIS Senegal, Herve of WIS Benin, Anem of WIS Togo. Gathering to discuss all matters African cotton with producers and other members of the supply chain to discuss the current challenges and the future. ACA were fantastic hosts and we look forwards to supporting African cotton for many years to come!

Rob Wakefield is currently attending the Textile Exchange Conference in Pasadena, representing Wakefield Inspection Services.

Our team at Wakefield Inspection Services Vietnam just wrapped up a great trip to Vĩnh Hy 2024. We enjoyed the stunning scenery and took part in some fun group activities.
It was a perfect time to relax, connect, and gear up for the challenges of 2024. Thanks to everyone for making this trip so meaningful.

Peter Wakefield and Rhea Wakefield Eaves were delighted to attend the Aid by Trade Foundation Cotton Conference 2024 in Mumbai, India last week.
Peter delivered a presentation on ‘Ensuring Integrity Through Physical Control in the Cotton Supply Chain’ which lead to some great discussions.
The delegates also visited the WIS ICA Bremen certified HVI Lab during their tour of the Cotton Association of India Building.
The conference was thoroughly enjoyable learning from many different speakers and presentations and engaging with a wonderful group of delegates! Many thanks to Aid by Trade foundation for an excellent few days!

Robert Wakefield was delighted to be in attendance at the Textile Exchange 2023 conference in Greenwich, London this week to connect with various partners in the supply chain about our innovations in Traceability.
