Penybont United 2-2 Builth Wells Reserves

The Reserves came away with a share of the spoils in their last away game of the season against Penybont.

It was a bright start for The Bulls and we found ourselves with an early lead when Keegan McGing found George Lloyd in behind, whose sweet looping strike from 30 yards found the back of the hosts net. We doubled our lead with a good finish from Kai Bridgeman (Sponsored by: Morgan & Co), assisted by George Lloyd. Penybont clawed one back before the break with some good work and an even better finish from C. Walby. 2-1 Half-time.

We were unable to restore our 2 goal advantage in the second half, with the game in balance for the majority. The home side were awarded a dubious penalty in the 85th minute, which was tucked away by A. Stonefield. 2-2 Full time and probably a fair result in the end!
