Conwy County BC have opened a consultation into whether they will introduce an overnight visitor levy
This will add £36.40 / week in tax to any stay in Gwylanedd One and £18.20 / week for Gwylanedd 2
Please fill in the survey to let the council know if this will stop you from visiting North Wales or shorten your visits
I’m not a fan of the idea as the national impact assessment showed that it would cost more to collect than it would raise and in addition I’d be expected to collect it for free

Ignoring the advert for Kate at Cleremont 😂 Well done to her for getting the publicity! Can’t fault what is said about the village though and both flats at Gwylanedd have exactly the same views
