Ffilmiwyd y fideo hon yn ystod amser eithaf tawel o'r dydd, ond serch hynny, gallwch weld hyd yn oed ar adegau tawel, mae yna dipyn o draffig yn mynd heibio i'r cae hwn. Gallwch hefyd weld pa mor gul yw’r Garnedd, a’i mynediad i’r cae.

O ystyried hyn i gyd, mae DU Construction eisiau cael traffig safle, a pheiriannau trwm yn mynd a dod wrth iddynt adeiladu. Nid yw'n dderbyniol.

Mae croeso i chi rannu'r post a gadael eich sylwadau isod....

This video footage was filmed during a pretty quiet time of day, but even so, you can see even at quiet times, there's quite a bit of traffic passing this field. You can also see how narrow Y Garnedd is, and it's entrance to the field.

Bearing all of this in mind, DU Construction want to have site traffic, and heavy machinery come and go while they build. It's just not acceptable.

Good article in the Daily Post on Monday 27th, very balanced report. DU Construction's claims that this field behind Y Garnedd is the most suitable site for Affordable housing in Llanfairpwll do not hold up; it is probably the only land they are able to buy at present. One gets the feeling that the developers want to build whatever the cost or conditions. The photograph on the Daily Post's website shows how wet this field is and the builder recognises the noise and pollution issues. DU have noticed that there is a waiting list for homes in Llanfairpwll and are speculating that Anglesey's planning committee will help them develop on a very unsuitable site,

How much consideration has been given to the welfare of parents and children living on this proposed development?.

The campaigners are resting over Yuletide and will restart in January. Our petition is receiving great support although we stopped home calls before Xmas because of high Covid rates in the village; hope all of you are OK and no one with serious problems.

Sad news about Gwawr Rowlands who sadly succumbed to the virus. Our thoughts are with Gwenno and her family.

A big thank you to all Llanfairpwll residents who have signed our campaign petition; of all those contacted so far 97% have supported. The vast majority of you are concerned about the Penmynydd Road being over used and the flooding problems experienced over recent years. We all fear that the village infrastructure cannot cope with any more development, many are asking why the county council isn't considering development along the A5 where there is a lot more space to build with better access to shops and amenities and much less traffic noise.

Flooding from heavy rainfall is a bigger problem in the village than I was aware of. I have been shown so many photographs of "lakes" on Y Wern, Ffordd Rhiannon and Holyhead Road plus pictures of flood damage in several houses from Maenafon Terrace to Fairview Terrace.

I am hopeful that our County Councillors are aware of the increasing regularity of deluge issues and that our village cannot accept any more developments until infrastructure is improved substantially.

Fight against the development of 27 houses on land North of Y Garnedd, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll

Ynys Mon County Council have made it possible for a proposed development of 27 houses on green field land in Llanfairpwl...

Ynys Mon County Council have made it possible for a proposed development of 27 houses on green field land in Llanfairpwll that is not included in their own Planning Structure Plan. The council has highlighted the field behind Y Garnedd, adjacent to the noisy A*5, despite there being an allocation for 30 building plots on Bryn Eira land within the structure plan. Why?

Why contemplate the er****on of 27 "affordable" properties alongside the busiest section of Anglesey's expressway, with traffic noise, toxic gases and flooding potential the primary attractions for residents.

If there is a need for "affordable" housing in Llanfairpwll why not build on higher, drier, quieter ground the other side of the A*5 and railway where there is more space to build considerate estates with plenty of parking facilities and decently sized gardens for children to play in.

If development is allowed behind Y Garnedd there is a strong chance that all green spaces from the Penmynydd Road flyover to the Rhandir Hedd cemetery will be fair game for speculative building. The residents of Carreg Y Gad, Tyn Cae, Tyn Rhos, Bro Syr John and Collen Wen - look out.

I should like to hear your comments.
