The continued adventures of Cosmo and Sea Holly...join them on a Pack Pony Walk: Cosmo and Sea Holly are the two highland ponies who used to graze in the field in front of the Balquhidder Mhor Teaghlach Lodge. Within a radius of a 15 minute drive from the lodges, you have access to 8 lochs: Loch Lubnig, Loch Voil, Loch Doine, Loch Earn, Loch Tay, Loch Venachar, Loch Achray and Loch Drunkie. Of course, after your refreshing dip, you can then relax in one of our glass canopy covered hot tubs, and enjoy the views across the mountains. Not a bad way to spend a morning! Read more

A trip down the Balquhidder Valley, with the road winding alongside loch Voil is definitely worth the time. There are many things to do and see, not least the Mirror Box at the head of the loch. White Water Rafting near Balquhidder Mhor Lodges: Recent guests at Balquhidder Mhor Soghail Lodge enjoyed a great day out white water rafting at Aberfoyle and were kind enough to share their photo's with us. Our guests were hosted by Splash Rafting who look to be a really great outfit who also offer other water sports activities such as canyoning. Looks to be absolutely great fun! Read more
