Top@floor bathroom - aesthetically designed with functionality.
I love these glazed green brick tiles (in two shades of bottle green) and to me it's important to have loads of storage so the mirror cupboard is all storage, with 3 hidden shaver sockets even. All bathroom fixtures are solid British brands - a mixture here if and .

Lighting is the second key thing - dimmable and 3 circuits so you can sink into the bath and have mood lights - the skylight even has a hidden strip light, if you can watch the stars.

The skylight is of course an electric operation so you don't need to climb up the bath to open ....

The shower with a view. Using traditional taps & shower fittings, amazing rusty looking tiles coupled with cork.... and that view, day here but at night a beautiful display of city lights and the light installation wall on Southwark Street just visible. The graffiti wall was an ever changing art mural, which I even convinced one artist to write my daughter's name on.....

Another project was born in that kitchen .

I'm a designer and love simple design detail and colour. MG Rivers jumpers was born here, coupling my love of colour, simple stripes detail and good quality materials.

I used a gorgeous soft Cashwool®️, which is a worsted spun Extrafine Merino as a base with stripes in heritage colours - and yes the mustard does run through! Used correctly I believe it's a stunning colour that adds a piquant glow to everything it touches.

You can also see the garden pod here which I used as a pop up shop (mustard ceiling obviously) It would make a lovely office, mini gym or welcome to pop my jumpers back in .....

The floor - I love these Bisazza En-caustic tiles as there is a natural patina to them, so the light reflects beautifull...

I'm so excited I can now tell you the reason behind my radio silence and show you inside Take Courage House as (drum roll please) you can now win it for £10 with Omaze!!! .
They've slightly tweaked colours, but happily most of my integrated hardcore design has stayed so you can enjoy. I'm proudest of the stunning one off Jules (me) special design handmade kitchen.
Also spot the gorgeous mustard Bizazza caustic stone tiling flowing through the entrance, kitchen, garden room and dining room. The light bounces off and you feel as though it's a sunny day.....

Easy breakfast - in for the best croissants 🥐 if you haven't been go, it's our go to. Quick 1 min stroll into the market and pick these up plus of course their raspberry tarts for an easy dessert, snack - just because. They only use French flour and butter and you can taste the difference- enjoy & you're welcome 😉

The sun is out this morning, finally - happily It's always a sunshine feel inside Take Courage House as the sun streams in the conservatory windows, bouncing off the mustard caustic stone floor and casting a warm glow throughout the downstairs. The lemon tree certainly loves it, and Borough Market provides amazing fresh produce year round - I'm not even sure what this fruit is called? ......
