This is a special one for us - not only because it’s our most expensive listing in E20 to date, but because it’s now under offer, at £30,000 over ask 🤯
Check this out - last month I got a call on the work phone, from a number I didn’t recognise when I was in Switzerland (will post when I get round to it), where a charismatic man opened with “Hey Tobias, I’m thinking of selling and heard you’re the man for the job” 🇨🇭
I laughed and said “well, there’s probably not too many agents who will answer the phone while on holiday, but there’s a reason you’ve heard of us - and we’d love to help”. I paid for my £7 latte (regular), and finished the call. Someone said coffee’s for closers ☕️
I think we left an impression, as on my return, I went round, armed with market data, the latest AW/25 from Reiss and the best track record of any agent in the postcode, and we won the instruction 🏆
We know the market’s been tough, so for the marketing we thought we’d try something a little different to engage our audience, and sent round the videographers 🎬
The photos hit the website and portals and the reel did numbers on socials. A Saturday Open House (by appointment only) saw one couple even racing back from a wedding to view it in their wedding attire. No love lost eh! 💍
In fact soon after launching, a similar property also went to market on the same road with another agent - and at a higher price - and we heard plenty of comparisons at our Open House, though wish them well as it’s still online.
See, we’re not the biggest agency; we don’t have multiple offices or 100s of employees mounting curbs in branded cars, but don’t ever think that size equals strength. And the rose grows through concrete 🌹
