MAKE IT Moments: Barking – July 2026

July was packed with good people, fresh faces and plenty of reasons to get together.

Our wellness studio stepped into the spotlight this month, transforming into the set of an independent film shoot. It was great to see our space brought to life on screen - proof that creativity can take shape in all kinds of ways at MAKE IT.

Our monthly community event got everyone moving with Jules Michelin, who led a mobility session focused on feeling stronger, looser and ready for whatever the week throws our way.

The car park has been just as busy as the spaces. Barking Burgers has been serving up crispy, juicy burgers, while the team at Chop Suya have been keeping everyone well fed with their incredible BBQ flavours.

We also welcomed Наir Extensions London/Keratin bonds/Tape ins to the MAKE IT Barking team. She’s already brought brilliant energy to the space, and her grand opening party was the perfect way to kick things off.

Another month of creating, connecting and making things happen. Same energy next month.

Building a business isn’t all wins and highlight reels.

When Rosie Skuse, CEO & Founder of , joined the .table Podcast at Haven Talks Podcast Studio in our Bow location, she spoke openly about the reality of entrepreneurship - the long hours, sleepless nights, setbacks, and everything that comes with building something from the ground up.

It’s a story we hear time and time again from the founders and business leaders who make use of our spaces so this really resonated with us. The journey isn’t easy, but the passion behind it is what keeps them going.
