He put his faith in me with the strategy, and man, did it pay off.

Buyer's a first timer. We're doing a lot of hand holding, but he's flying through the process, working hard to get it over the line as quickly as possible.

Makes my life a lot easier when the buyer takes their role seriously.

And honestly, I can't wait for him to get the keys. I know he is going to love living there.

For those of you who have worked with me over the last couple of years, this will be a familiar face.

Two years ago, my business outgrew me and Michaela stepped in as my Property Manager and General Assistant.

These titles don’t do her justice though, she represents so much more for my business.

She’s a business owner herself, which means she gets the pressures, the landscape and the goals. Our businesses grow together and that kind of alignment is genuinely rare.

She was critical during my move to eXp, my clients love her, she knows the business inside out, and I never have to second-guess how she represents us.

I made the considered decision to invest in UK-based expertise. I could have gone abroad for a fraction of the cost, but I needed someone who truly lives this - the local market, property law, the real pain points. And it’s been worth every penny.

Jon and I have been working together for years. 🤝

He was always super supportive of me, wherever I've been and he didn't think twice when I started my own business.

🏡 I've rented his flat, managed the tenancies and now sold it.
We had some tough tenants to deal with, but through tactful advice and with his trust, we always managed to come out on top.

It's now sold at a great price, I'm delighted to have done such a good job for him, but sorry to be parting ways with a great client. 🤝

Seriously though, I need to give a special shoutout to my amazing wife. We were best friends for eight years, together for five years, and married in November.

She helped me write my CV ten years ago when I joined Foxtons, listened to me bang on about my property investments, got me back on my feet when Purple Bricks pulled the rug out from under me, and advised me when Remax tried to pull a fast one. She's literally been there every step of the way. I’m certain I wouldn’t have the incredible business I’ve built without her, and I couldn’t ask for a better partner in crime.

Another day, another deal 🏡✨

I’ve been working with this landlord for a very long time — I even took him out for lunch in New York, where he lives 🍽️🗽

I look after this flat for him, his wife’s place in Nine Elms, her friend’s flat in Clapham, their uncle’s flat in Earls Court, and her brother’s flat in Stockwell. He then recommended me to a neighbour in Brixton… who recommended me to another neighbour in the same building 😅

Safe to say I’ve become the family’s agent of choice 🔑🏠

I feel very lucky to have clients like these who basically act as my marketing team 🙌 It didn’t happen by accident though — every one of them got honest advice that genuinely served their best interests.

A tenant I placed in Wimbledon was so happy with how I handled her move that she handed me the keys to her own properties 🔑🏡 That kind of trust doesn’t come easily, and I don’t take it lightly.

Her flat on Cole Park Road had been sitting on the sales market. Her agent had already knocked nearly £100k off the asking price 📉 I told her to pull it. The timing wasn’t right, and chasing a bad price down never ends well.

We found her a great tenant instead 🙌 Sadly, a year in, he lost his job. Life happens. But through careful, honest communication, we managed a clean, amicable exit 🤝 No drama, no loss in rent.

The flat is now relet, at a higher rate 📈 to a tenant who’s loving his new home 🏠 Everyone’s a winner. 🎉

Just relet this flat. New couple in, really happy. But I need to talk about the landlord for a second.

Five years ago, during the pandemic, I brought him a load of offers. One was low, genuinely low. He’s a doctor. The applicant a nurse. He said, “I know what nurses are going through right now, give it to her.” I was blown away, so was she.
He then kept her rent there for five years! Through the post-pandemic rental surge, through all of it. Never budged. Just because.

Landlords are an easy target right now. A lot of it is fair, and I do want better for tenants. But this industry has people in it who quietly do the right thing and never make any noise about it. He didn’t ask me to post this.

Pick an agent who wants what's best for you and society as a whole.
