😷😷Covid19 2020🌈🌈
This was the big unexpected cloud in the sky that has seriously and dramatically changed peoples lives. Lock-down in Southgate, Oakwood & North London. In the beginning of 2020 people were out and about with their usual shopping trips, work commutes and school runs. All of a sudden the whole of North London had come to an immediate stop. The local High streets were like Ghost Towns....Restaurants, Cafes' Pubs and bars were Shut. Now we are coming back to a bit of normality. People have gradually gone to work in their offices, shops, stores, some are still self isolating due to health reasons. The NHS & key-workers themselves have done and are still doing a sterling job.
In the past week the kids have gone back to school with social distance measures adhered to in classrooms and communal areas. However out of school kids are congregating in the high streets rather than starting their journeys home. Being a Parent myself and having advised my own kids, my advice is: OK fine go to the shops quickly get what you want, sweets, crisps, drinks ...but as soon as you have done that please make your way home. Protect yourselves and help protect others. Now the ruling has been bought out that there are to be no more than six people to a gathering. Now there is the risk of the second wave coming. Please ensure you wear your face masks when required, in schools, place of work, on the bus, tube, taxis,and car pools. For those that can't for health reasons make sure you social distance and sanitize your hands.
People have lost loved ones due to this Corona outbreak. so please do everything you can to try and prevent any more serious cases from happening. We have almost got through 2020, so lets go towards 2021 being healthy with a positive mind.
Overall my message to everyone out there is:Take great care of each other. Be careful and stay safe.make sure you wear your masks if you can. Social distance yourself in public places at all times Sanitize your hands as much as you can. Together we will beat Covid 19.😷👊🌈
